Have you been pondering about the perfect Post-it notes? Going back and forth between traditional glue or glue sticks? In a conundrum over all things Crayola? Well it's time to wrap things up and get your gift to the school. If you participated in this year's Wishing Upon a Star program, tomorrow is the day to grant those teacher wishes. Thanks to everyone who has shared the love (and the tape!).

Remember!
Today is the last day of the winter clothing drive (and the last day to check the lost and found before the items are donated!).
Also, the Wish Upon a Star program will continue through next week, so if you need the perfect gift idea for your child's teacher, come and choose a star.

Celebrating the Season
Today the 5th grade students have the fantastic opportunity to see the Christmas Around the World show at BYU. This is the 50th anniversary year for the show, and the kids should have a great time. If you have a 5th grader, ask what the best part of the show was.Thursday, December 3, 2009

The Gift of Warmth
The student council is collecting winter clothing (coats, hats, scarves, gloves) for local families in need. If you have a coat or other items that you are no longer using, please send them to school with your child to be donated. There is a special need for child and teen-sized items, but adult sizes are also appreciated. The clothing drive will last through December 11.
Also, there are MANY unclaimed items in our school lost and found. If the items are not taken home before Dec. 11, they will be donated to the clothing drive. So if you're wondering where that hat or those gloves went, please have your child check the lost and found (it's located between the double glass doors next to the steps that lead down to the upper-grade library) before you unwittingly become a generous donor to our clothing drive.
Unwitting or not, we love generous donors.
