radKIDS is the national leader in children's safety education. It provides a hands-on, skill-based program that teaches kids about home, school, and vehicle safety, defense against abduction, good/bad/uncomfortable touch, internet safety, drug safety, and more. If you have a first-grader, look for the note that was sent home on Monday with specific details about the date and time of their class' simulation. The simlulations are taking place tomorrow morning and Friday morning and early afternoon. Everyone is invited--parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends.

And if you want to practice any of the moves with your child, make sure you wear shin guards.
