Field Day, Spirit Week, it's time to partay!

Whoa, there's been a change to the Field Day schedule! It was originally supposed to be on Tuesday but it has been pushed back to Wednesday because of weather. So tomorrow is the highly ironic Beach Day tomorrow is now Character Day and Beach Day will be Wednesday so the kids can play water games without getting their costumes wet, and there will be a bunch of book/movie characters playing games on Field Day.

Because of the change from Tuesday to Wednesday for Field Day, some of our volunteers may not be able to come. If you are available, hale, and hearty (or even just available), please send an email letting us know you'd like to help! (address is in the upper left sidebar)

It's also Spirit Week this week (were you wondering why sudden desire for spiked hair this morning?).


The themes are as follows:

Monday--Crazy Hair
Tuesday--Beach Day (no swimsuits. really.) Character Day
Wednesday--Character Day (dress as a favorite character from a book, movie, or TV show) Beach Day (still no swimsuits)
Thursday--Sports Day (colors or jersey of a favorite sports team)

In case you hadn't heard (ha ha, my kids have been counting down since April), Thursday is the last day of school. It's an early out, so remember to pick up your kids if they don't ride the bus. It's a total bummer to be stuck at the school instead of bursting into summer break.
